1.10 Stable - Changing Ticket Source

I need to chanege the source option in 1.10 stable

I researched past methods to change sources and none seemed to apply to the current version.
I began to read through the code and changed include\class.ticket.php

Lines 142-157:

Moved it back to the server and tried to create a ticket.
The good news - nothing broke; The bad news it prints blank under the new ticket.

Does anyone have any insight into what I need to change to actually include the source entry?

Hi

I have OSTicket installed (1.9.12), and in my ambient have many departments.

One of theses departments - let's call it sucess -, have acess to tickets from another department - lets call it suport.

When i open the default view (http://localhost/ticket/scp/tickets.php), i always have both tickets showned, from sucess and from suport. 

I like to have only the tickets from sucess viewned in default view, but i don't want to loose the ability of editing the tickets from suport.

I have tried many diferente configurations betwen groups with no sucess.

My try who put me more close to a solution i want is, alter the query from tickets.inc.php, and put a filter for show only tickets from sector of the staff, but in this case i loose the ability to edit the tickets from suport.

I apreciate any advices give

Hi there,

I'm running osTicket 1.10 on Linux.

I'm needing a little help on where to edit the attachment list in the php files? I'm really struggling to find it.

I want to edit this :

E-mail notification on ticket status change (closed, resolved, etc)

Hi there,

I'm looking to have our installation of OSTicket send an e-mail when a ticket status is changed (i.e.: when it's resolved, or closed, or another custom status).  
Can someone point me in the right direction?  Where in the code is this status set?  Can I just write a few lines of php in there to send an e-mail?

I'm using v1.10.

Searchable Canned Responses

Hi Guys

Has anyone created or worked on the ability to search the canned responses? We have a large list of canned responses and sometimes are unsure which one contains the content we want to use. By being able to search for keywords we are hoping to narrow down the canned response to use.

Custom SCP URL

We are looking at restricting access to our SCP folder where you'd have to be on our VPN to access it.

The basic process we're looking at:

- Have the end user side accessible via a public hostname.
- Create a VPN accessible only hostname
- Force redirect any attempts to access the scp folder to the private hostname URL
- Only VPN connected users can continue

The problem I have is that there are some AJAX calls built in to the scp and it's giving cross domain errors.

Is there a variable I can set to change the full URL of the scp only in the code..or at least the hostname, not just the folder name?

Hi,
I want to customize ticket request page.

so that before opened ticket request page , possibility to choose have Department by user.
and then be opened ticket request page, so that in "help topic" part just subjects
related to selected department to be displayed.




Notify collaborators also on new Ticket

Collaborators are notified on tickets updates, but i need notify them when new ticket is created. Is it possible?
Maybe adding collaborators before to create the Ticket?
In which files i can change this?

Hi All,
Just want a help in modifying for guest opening a ticket. Here's what i want , when guest opening a ticket, when he/she will click submit it will pop up a print option for the ticket the she/he created. Is this possible? Thanks

Custom Ticket Entry Colors Possible?

I was wondering if there was any way to make Internal Notes or Email ticket entries have different color backgrounds than the normal system generated ticket entries? The Status changes and assigned entries kind of clutter up the ticket view and a few different subtle color changes could make it a bit easier to find what im looking for more quickly. Thanks!

Manage ticket Form, selectable field

Hello,
I'm wondering is there any ability to add custom selectable field to form, witch values is determinated from user custom information fields?

Example:
In form: User information > add new fields (location1, location2, location3 ...)
AS for ticket create form, Field named Location gives available values (location1, location2, location3 ...)

Reply to a new email address but without going to the original ticket creator

My client has a requirement that is a little out of the ordinary.

What they require is to be able to reply to a ticket but reply to a different email address than the original users. The purpose is that if an end user creates a ticket enquiring about their wages for example, my client may need to discuss this with another company first (which wont be internal so the external company would have no access to this ticket system) and THEN get back to the original ticket creator.

 So if joebloggs@email.com creates the ticket, my client wants top be able to use the 'reply' area to forward it onto someone external first then once they have a response, they will update the ticket accordingly and get back to Joe Bloggs. I am aware this could mean the thread will be updated with everything (including any external conmments from the external company),. but this is isnt an issue for my client as for their needs, the end user will have no access to either the thread or the front end ticket system so all they will see is my clients reply to them.

Currently I can reply to the end user and copy in another address but what I would want is a new option on the drop down that simply allows to 'reply to different address'.

It's clearly going to be a modification but can anyone advise?

HI everyone, i like your GMAO but... i need some customizations, so i have some questions for you, i'm in 1.9.13 on a NAS synology

1 : how to enlarge the website ( screen 1)

2 : how to custom these fields, choose to add or remove somes variables (screen 2) who exists in the form-field when i click on the name (screen3) and how i enlarge this window too if this is not possible to custom ?

3 : How to custom these fields in a export CSV same than my question 2 i mean add or remove some variables to export (screen4) or can i export to xlsx ?

4 : How custom these fields (yea i know again) in a ticket, i've checked in the admin panel under form, but i can't remove theses lines and we don't have SLA this line is useless(screen5)

5 : last but not least, it's obvious when you look my UI, i'm french, so i downloaded your extensions phar to change the language, wonderful,it is possible to change some words like users/utilisateurs in CARS or Help Topic/Rubrique d'aide ? if yes, when ?

Hi all,
Is it possible to change the view of the open ticket? I use the custom form for filling the ticket but not all that field is in the open ticket view. Hope someone will guide me so that all information will appear on the open ticket. thank you.

How to add an email verify field

Does anyone know of a simple way to add an email verification field on the open ticket form. More specifically I need two email fields presented to the client, and if the email address entered in both fields does not match, the user would receive some sort of warning message and be unable to continue until they match.  I dont think I can do it with RegEx so looking for other ideas.

hello,
Maiby  anyone have done the mod of adding to form field variable? like class="name" by forms assigned variable?

Exp.:
In ticket details form we create Form Fiels Localton, ant is Optional, at variable for it is location.
As for dynamic forms it allways gets Id " _(random)" i need to assign class="location"
